CLUB SCENE | IGMA Auction at 2014 Chicago International

For the first time ever, an International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA) Auction was held at the Tom Bishop Chicago International Miniatures Show. This affair began at 5:30 p.m. following the preview show on Friday, April 11, 2014. The annual IGMA Auctions raise much needed funds to support the many educational programs that it sponsors. You did not have to be a Chicago International preview ticket holder to participate in this auction. A cash bar was available. Also, the auctioneer Duffy Wineman kept the event fun and lively. The special auction items are donated from Guild members, artisans and fellows, and others within the miniature community that wish to contribute to these worthwhile events. There were 40 items up for auction. The items were on display in the main showroom all day Friday for viewing until the start of the auction. Attendees stuck around after the auction ends for a couple of door prize giveaways!
